Colleagues support one another in myriad ways, and the university supports them with resources and an inclusive environment. We listen to faculty and staff and improve our work environment based on their input; we invest in our people and their professional growth.

The people. The individuals that make up the faculty/staff at SVSU are what gives this institution the rightful and positive reputation for caring and personal support to students. It's not necessarily a written policy that makes it that way, it's just how the people that work here are. We care about the students, we care about the university.
